CASH and a car were stolen following a burglary in Trowbridge in the early hours of Monday morning.
A house in Parklands was broken into through the back door which was unlocked.
A small amount of cash was stolen from inside the house, along with a set of car keys.
A silver Peugeot 306 that was outside the house was subsequently stolen.
PC Charly Chilton said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to locate the vehicle and identify those responsible.
"The vehicle registration number is KP04 GMV - anyone who sees the vehicle should call police on 101.
"As well as this, anyone who was in the area who saw or heard anything in the Parklands area in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday should contact us immediately.
"We’d like to continue to stress the importance of locking doors and windows especially at night time, and being mindful of your home security at all times."
