NEW owners are being sought for an imposing Grade II-listed Edwardian mansion on the outskirts of Trowbridge.
The freehold of Fieldways Hotel and Health Club is being marketed for offers over £1.2 million by commercial estate agents Colliers International.
The 13-bedroom, family-run hotel in Hilperton has a bar, restaurant and function facilities which help to generate net sales in excess of £369,000.
Ed Jefferson, from Colliers International’s Hotels team, said the property was originally built as a gentleman’s residence and retains many period features.
He said: “Our clients have owned the hotel since 1991 and set about an extensive refurbishment, adding the function facilities, gym, spa, steam room, sauna and swimming pool.
“Recognising that the hotel and health club is now in need of a further round of updating and refurbishment, they have decided to retire.”
Located just off the A361 at Hilperton, the hotel is an excellent base to explore Wiltshire.
