MORE volunteers are needed to help run Corsham's Tourist Information Centre.
Based in Arnold House, in the High Street, the centre not only offers advice to visitors, it also runs a busy Made In Corsham shop, selling locally made arts and crafts.
The information centre is entirely managed and staffed by local volunteers, Tuesday to Saturday from 10am till 4pm - though hours reduce after Christmas for the winter. The shop currently has a huge sale of charity Christmas cards.
Manager Sandra Cholerton said: "We'd welcome anyone who enjoys interacting with people, who knows Corsham or has a wish to, where things are and about the town's history."
Each day has two three-hour shifts, and volunteers can choose their level of commitment - some do two shifts a month, while many do a shift every week.
To find out more, call in at the information centre or call on 01249 714660.
