A DIGITAL estate agent will officially launch in Swindon this Thursday.
Resides Swindon hopes to bridge the gap between the high street agent and the online marketplace of Zoopla and Right Move.
Its founder Alison burden, who has worked as an estate agent for 25 years, also hopes her local knowledge of Swindon will make her the first choice above bigger national firms.
Alison old the Adver: "I do what all other estate agents do but I haven't got the same overheads so I can charge a lower fee.
"I do everything the high street would do, and they can meet me at the Basepoint Centre as well if they want to."
The launch of the venture, which started in October, also hopes to bring businesses in Swindon together.
"It's all about the community and keeping the business in Swindon. Resides Swindon is purely focused on Swindon.
"I just offer something different whilst also being competitive."
The launch will take place at the Basepoint Business Centre, on Rivermead Drive, on January 24.
