FOURTEEN students from Kingdown School in Warminster set off to Nepal where they trekked to Annapurna base camp to host the worlds highest student lunch party.
The 16 day trip saw the pupils trek up to 4,130 metres, led by trekking adventure guides.
Along the way they visited locals, played team games and leaned about the culture of Nepal.
Nick Trimby, teacher at Kingdown School and one of the trip organisers said: "With a tear in my eye, I could not believe that the whole team had made it and that we could all celebrate our world’s highest student lunch party.
"What a fantastic achievement.
"With a quick change of clothing to bow ties and shirts and ladies in their finery, we settled down to a three course lunch all washed down with hot mango juice.
"It was truly amazing and very much enjoyed by all.
"After lunch, we spent time taking in the stunning views.
" It was an absolute pleasure travelling with this group of students and something we would love to do again."
