MP Michelle Donelan visited residents at the Blenheim House care home in Melksham on Friday (January 25) to talk about Brexit and other topical national and local issues.
The residents had expressed an interest at one of their recent meetings due to all of the political news on TV at the moment.
Mawson Chipchase, the home’s customer relations manager, said: “It was so nice to see and hear the residents engaging with Michelle and discussing the real world. It is so important not to forget that Even though someone has chosen to live in a care environment, they still need to be connected with normality.” and treated no differently to anyone else.”
Following her discussion with the residents, the MP went on a brief tour of the 85-bed luxury care home.
