QUIZ experts from businesses across Trowbridge have gone head to head to raise £550 for Dorothy House Hospice at Winsley.
They were all taking part in the inaugural Trowbridge Charity Quiz, organised by chartered accountants MHA Monahans at Trowbridge Rugby Football Club.
With 12 teams battling it out for the top spot, it was MHA Monahans’ Bath office team, ‘Bath with the Wrong Dan’, who took first place.
All entry fees and raffle ticket money were put together and donated to Dorothy House Hospice.
Simon Tombs, managing partner at MHA Monahans in Trowbridge, said: “Our thanks go to Trowbridge Rugby Football Club who donated the use of their space for free, and so enabled us to raise as much as possible for Dorothy House.
“We’re proud to have brought together businesses from across the town, who all contributed to the £550 raised for Dorothy House. This money goes to a very deserving charity.”
