A STUDENT from Trowbridge will be following in the footsteps of stars of the stage when she takes part in a Festival of Contemporary Theatre at a performing arts school.
Kati Parkes, 17, will be performing in Six on Six Contemporary Theatre Festival from March 2 to 12 at the prestigious Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
The Six on Six Festival will see Tring Park acting students perform six plays in six days at Tring Park's Markova Theatre in the grounds of the school. Kati will be starring in Muswell Hill by Torben Betts.
Kati is a student on the Sixth Form Acting Course at Tring Park and used to attend St Augustine's college in Trowbridge.
Director of drama at Trig Park School, Ed Applewhite said: "The Six on Six Festival is a hugely ambitious undertaking by our students, and the plays we have chosen really push them to explore the depths of their acting skills. It's a great opportunity for them."
