A TEAM of people who have made it their mission to help the homeless in Trowbridge have planted hats, scarves and gloves around the town.
Members of the Helping the Homeless Facebook page have collected their donations and placed them in the town park and town centre town to raise awareness of homelessness.
A spokesman from the group said: “We wanted to make awareness of people’s situations a reality and hope that people become more aware of homelessness in their local surroundings in Trowbridge.
“We’ve been a team for a little over a year, making food bags, toiletry packs and gather essentials such as sleeping bags, tents, clothing to people we can reach in the south west.
“We hope we make a difference.”
The Facebook page, which is open for any members of the public to request to join, has now reached more than 1,000 members.
