THE new chairwoman of the Bradford on Avon Business network is Lucy Millar, a residential and commercial utility consultant.
She was the “popular choice” of the business group’s 500-plus members.
Mrs Millar beat the other candidate, Steve Plummer, a travel company director and town councillor, to lead BoA Business over the next year and beyond.
Mrs Millar, 37, a mother of four who lives in Winsley Road, Bradford on Avon, said she was “hugely excited” to have the support of the group’s members.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the past two weeks. My main focus will be to get us working together as one team, instead of working separately.”
Mrs Millar also runs the Link with Latte networking group, which meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Cumberwell Park Golf Club from 10am to 12 noon.
