A horse-racing syndicate based in Staverton has donated £2,700 to two charities.
Racing for a Cause donated £1,350 each to Dorothy House Hospice in Winsley and St Peter’s Hospice in Bristol.
The syndicate regularly donates any surplus funds left after covering training costs to its chosen charities.
Its racehorse Bounty Pursuit is trained by Michael Blake Racing at Staverton Farm. His next race is on May 2 at Salisbury.
Syndicate spokeswoman Allie Burchell said: “We are very pleased to divide our latest fundraising total of £2,700 between our chosen charities.”
The syndicate holds fundraising and social events throughout the year, as well as visits to the stables and gallops.
Allie added: “Membership is only £50 per member per month making it great value for money. Members receive owner and trainer entrance badges on Bounty’s race days.”
A summer special offer of £175 for four months is available to April 30.
