NEARLY half of all knife crimes in West Wiltshire in the last two years took place in Trowbridge.
A Freedom of Information request submitted by the Wiltshire Times shows that children as young as 10 have been arrested by police for knife crime.
Although police say they are working to educate the community, youth workers say some young people have become nervous to leave their houses because of concerns about knives on the streets.

Wiltshire Police say they are continuing to work with schools and youth workers to educate young people and community leaders say people should not be ‘overly concerned’.
