THREE teenagers from Trowbridge have now been charged following a double stabbing in the town back in February.
The incident happened near the Tesco Extra car park, County Way, at around 11.15pm on February 13.
Two men in their 20s were injured – one suffered minor injuries, while the other was taken to Southmead Hospital in a serious condition. He has since been released from hospital.
Today, officers investigating the incident have charged a 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys, all from Trowbridge.
They have been charged with grievous bodily harm, robbery and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
They have been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today.
A/Det Sgt Ted Roe said: “This incident understandably caused a lot of concern amongst the community in Trowbridge.
"I hope this latest development provides some reassurance that we will not tolerate violence of this nature.”
