THE Once Upon A Time in The West Festival is back for its 6th annual outing near Trowbridge this summer.

Taking place from July 12-14, the three-day O.U.T. West Festival is being held on land at Grange Farm on the Bratton Road at West Ashton.

Festival founders Morph and Flounder Murray, of Ten Gallon Events in Trowbridge, said: “This year’s O.U.T West promises to be the best one yet.

“This will be the 6th O.U.T. West and we have dug deep back to our West Country roots to bring three days of relaxing into who you want to be, away from the goings on of the outside world. The festival has always been to us a way of trying to combine the best parts of the festival world to into one small event at a local and national level.

“As musicians and keen festival-goers we know what we like and we wanted to share it with people but in a more accessible way than the big boys can.”

Mr Murray says they are keen to work with local residents to minimise noise and disruption from festival-goers and the acts performing at the event, and to make sure local people are not affected by traffic issues.

He added: “We have created a separate information site for residents near the site.

“If you live in the vicinity you should have received a letter including the address of that web page, and other contact information.”

West Ashton Parish Council has been approached for comment on the event.

Headline music acts include the famous Wurzels, Bath-based Citizen Fish and Black Water County.

First and second tier adult tickets for the festival are already sold out but tickets are still on sale for other tiers.
