HOMELESSNESS and unemployment charity the Amber Foundation welcomed production company Theatre Handmade to its giant Tipi for an open day last Wednesday.
A number of guests including the new mayor of Trowbridge, David Cavill came in support of the charity.
The show explored the trials and tribulations of growing up and out of a dysfunctional home and looked to question how people develop their identities. It followed with an interactive workshop for young people.
Laura Fenson, fundraising manager said: “It’s always great to welcome people to Amber, to see what we do and to meet our young people.
"The production was a fantastic and fun way to explore some quite challenging, and often emotive, subject matters.
“Many of the residents were keen to talk more about theatre and how to work in the arts, it was great to be able to share some of our thoughts and to hear theirs."
