THE 11th Warminster Wobble cycle festival taking place on June 15 and 16 has become a firm favourite with people far and wide, say organisers.
Held in Warminster Town Park, the event is free to enter and organiser Colin French says there will be lots to do for all the family on the first day and activities for children are well catered for.
Local strongman Lee Osment, current holder of the England’s Strongest Man title, will help to launch the event at 11am and will also show off his skills to lift a car at 2pm.
Mr French said: “Lee is a local hero who has held the title of Strongest Man under 90 kg for two years running and we are really excited to have him along.
“This year we have a graffiti artist offering tips on spray art, a mobile photo booth with dress up box and a huge climbing wall.”
Sunday offers a range of four led cycle rides, including an 8-mile family ride to Heytesbury, a 25-mile ride to Langford Lakes, a fast-paced 40-mile ride and an off-road ride, where helmets must be worn.
