ORGANISERS of a Charity Country Competition hope to attract more than 200 entrants from the Wiltshire agricultural industry and local rural community.
The team of agricultural industry professionals, including The Farm Consultancy Group, Royds Withy King, Old Mill and Woolley & Wallis have come together to organise the event on July 11 at Owl Lodge near Lacock to raise funds for Wiltshire Mind and The UK Sepsis Trust.
George Drewett said: “The fundraising team have friends and family who have recently been affected by mental health problems and sepsis, so would like to raise a substantial amount of money to donate to these very worthwhile causes.”
The event will involve archery, axe throwing, blindfold Land Rover driving, crossbows, catapults and clay pigeon shooting.
The organisers are inviting teams of four people at £60 per person (to include lunch, tea and cake) to take part.To take part, call 01249 750151 or email whiteavonconsultancy@fcgagric.com.
