A fire crew was called to a barbecue blaze yesterday evening.
As temperatures rose and more and more people took to dining alfresco the crew from Melksham was called to Bowerhill at about 7.23pm on Saturday.
A fire service spokesman said: "One crew from the Melksham fire station were mobilised to a report of a fire in a garden of a domestic property involving a BBQ.
"On arrival crews confirmed a fire involving a gas BBQ, crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and ensured the gas cylinder was cooled and allowed to vent in open air."
