TWO men have been arrested after police were alerted to a break-in at the Jaguar Land Rover garage in Melksham.
A CCTV operator called police shortly after 10.30pm last night on Tuesday (July 9) night after a man had been spotted in the Hampton Park West site trying the door handles of cars and removing parts from the vehicles.
Officers attended and, following a short chase on foot, arrested and detained two men.
A 40-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both from Faversham in Kent, were arrested on suspicion of theft and are both in custody at Melksham Police Station.
A number of items, including a bag of tools, a balaclava, and numerous car parts, have also been seized.
Police enquiries are currently ongoing.
