ONE of the UK's most recorded and highly regarded classical guitarists is to play at Edington's Priory Church next month.
An Evening with Craig Ogden is taking place at the Priory Church, Edington, starting at 7.30pm.
Mr Ogden is the UK's No. 1 classical guitarist, playing with orchestras and in recitals all over the world.
Anne Curtis of Edington Arts said: "He combines a dazzling technique with mastery and a love of many different musical styles, and the programme he will play reflects that.
"From classical Scarlatti sonatas and a lovely J.S.Bach Lute Suite, through sun-drenched Spanish compositions from Albeniz, Torroba and Granados, to jazz by Django Rheinhart, a 1986 piece by Belgian guitarist and composer Armand Coeck, and two pieces by Gary Ryan demonstrating different folk styles – there really will be something for all musical tastes."
