Arson attack
ARSONISTS set fire to the play park at the Primrose Nature Reserve in Melksham on September 5. Police are still investigating to try and identify those responsible.
Bath carried away
TWO men stole a metal bath from a garden at St Margaret’s Gardens, Melksham, at 4.24pm last Friday. The men were seen driving a red Transit-type van with a cage on the back.
Phone taken
A MAN left a mobile phone at one of the pubs in Frome Road, Bradford on Avon, at 11pm on Monday, only to find it had been stolen when he went to retrieve it.
Purse stolen
A PURSE and a cloth bag were stolen in the Mount Pleasant area of Bradford on Avon, on Sunday while the victim was still in the premises.
Vehicle scratched
A DEEP scratch was made from front to back along the passenger side of a vehicle parked at The Common in Holt on Monday.
Lights smashed
HEADLIGHTS on a Renault panel van parked on a driveway in Forest Road, Melksham, were smashed between September 4 and 5.
Plates nicked
FRONT and rear registration number plates were stolen from a Citroen Berlingo parked in Spencer Close, Melksham, overnight on September 4.
