A DISTINCTIVE motorbike was stolen from a house in South Wraxall in a burglary last week.

Now motorbike owners are being urged to be extra vigilant with security around their vehicles.

Police have released images of the bike, a KTM SX 250 2019, that was taken from a house in South Wraxall during 7.45am and 3.30pm on 10 October. The bike is easily recognisable with its white, orange and black colouring, with the number 222 on the side plate.

PC Daniel Chaventre, from Trowbridge Community Policing Team, appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

He said: "The stolen bike is very distinctive so we would ask people to be aware and to report anything suspicious to us.

"I'd also like anyone who may have been in the area at the time, particularly anyone with dash cam footage, to come forward with any information which may help us reunite the bike with its owner.

"I'd urge all owners to consider any extra security measures possible to ensure the safety of their bike."

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference 541901086. You can also report information anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
