SINGING legend Georgie Fame has had to pull out of a concert at the Corn Exchange on November 8 after being involved in an accident.

Devizes Arts Festival said: "We are sorry to announce that Georgie Fame was involved in an accident and was admitted to hospital where he was treated for his injuries – including a broken hip and pelvis.

"This sadly means that he will not be able to perform his concert at the Corn Exchange on November 8th

"We hope that we will be able to arrange a rescheduled date once he is fit again, but in the meantime we wish him the very best for a full recovery.

"Ticket holders will be contacted shortly and refunds issued."
