DANCE group entertainers are going for gold when they bring their annual pantomime to the stage.
Trowbridge based dance performers The Footlights are putting on the traditional story of Robinson Crusoe and the search for treasure for their pantomime production.
Caroline Wilkinson has been running The Footlights since 1985 and this year’s production is the 33rd panto she has helped to create.
She said: “My team have been working on this pantomime since March. The cast of 60 local young performers have been rehearsing since April.
“We perform at the Arc Theatre in Trowbridge which enables us to give children and young people the opportunity to perform on stage in a local theatre, gaining valuable life experiences. It allows them to experience working as a team to create a production.”
Call 0333 666 4466 for tickets to the shows, which are on Thursday November 14, Friday 15th and Saturday 16th at 7pm.
