A CHARITY auction organised by Travis Perkins in Melksham has raised more than £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The builders' merchants staged the auction last week to sell more than 160 items to the highest bidder.
Organiser Robbie Newton, the Melksham branch manager, said: "Early indications show that we have raised well over £5,000 via this auction which will enable Macmillan to be there for everyone affected by cancer, their family and friends."
He added: "Thank you so much, I really do appreciate all your bids. I will be in touch with the lucky winners in the coming days."
