Former Chairman of the Wilton Windmill Society, John Talbot, died recently following a short illness.
John’s memorial service is at St Mary's Church in Great Bedwyn on Tuesday January 14th at 2.30pm.
All are very welcome to attend.
John moved to Bedwyn from Wilton in 2015, and was chairman of the society for three years and a member since 1996.
He was described as a 'wonderful' chairman by Peter Lemmon, the society's president.
Wilton Windmill is run entirely by volunteers, and the only windmill in the South West that still mills grain.
"He was very much part of the strength society and will be very missed," said Peter.
"Along with his wife Belinda, John has done so much for the Wilton Windmill Society, and our thoughts are very much with Belinda at this sad time."
