TWO men have been arrested amid allegations of sexual assault at a Wiltshire GP surgery.
The men were arrested in March and released under investigation as part of ongoing inquiries into the Cross Plain Surgery in Durrington, which closed in October after it was was rated inadequate following a CQC inspection.
A Wiltshire police spokesman said: "A 31-year-old man from the Salisbury area was arrested on suspicion of four counts of sexual assault.
“A 41-year-old man from the Salisbury area was arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault.
“They were both arrested on March 27 interviewed and have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
“These arrests were made as part of ongoing enquiries regarding the Cross Plains Surgery."
Following the surgery's closure, its patients were taken on by the Sarum Health Group, which operates other surgeries in the area.
The Clinical Commissioning Group, which is responsible for overseeing healthcare in Wiltshire, said it could not comment while the police investigation was continuing.
