A WILTSHIRE man is accused of creating a poster of x-rated pictures of his girlfriend and pasting it on a bus stop.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court via video link from Melksham police station yesterday, Sam Farley, 26, of Lincoln Green, Melksham, entered no pleas to harassment without violence and a so-called 'revenge porn' charge – disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.
It is alleged Farley bombarded his ex-partner with messages after their relationship ended in April. He is accused of threatening to send sexually explicit images of the woman.
Prosecutor Graham Dono told magistrates it was claimed the man created a collage of the images and put it up on a bus stop. Farley is understood to vigorously deny this allegation.
Magistrates denied the defendant bail, remanding him into custody for a plea and trial preparation hearing on June 19.
Farley was represented by solicitor Moses Taiwo. The chairman of the bench was Janet Morgan.
