TWO Swindon teenagers are due to appear in court in the next few weeks after a 16-year-old suffered a head injury that needed stitches during an attack behind a Burger King.
The victim was walking along the alleyway behind the fast food restaurant on Queens Drive and Munro Close at around 3.30pm on Wednesday May 20.
As he walked, a group approached and then attacked him.
The 16-year-old sustained a head injury which later required stitches in hospital.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault.
A 15-year-old boy and and a 17-year-old boy have both been arrested and charged with Section 18 wounding with intent.
The 15-year-old is due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on July 3.
The 17-year-old is due at Swindon Magistrates Court on June 23.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call the police straight away on 101.
