A MAN who coughed into the face of a Sainsbury's shop worker in Trowbridge on Thursday June 25 is being sought by police.
The man was involved in two suspected shoplifting incidents at Sainsbury's supermarkets in Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon.
The man arrived at Sainsbury’s on British Row, Trowbridge, in a VW Passat and walked into the store and selected a number of ink cartridges.
A member of staff approached him and when challenged he dropped the contents of his basket and coughed into the face of the shop worker before leaving empty handed.
Later the same day, the same man drove the same vehicle to Sainsbury’s at the Elms Cross Shopping Centre in Bradford on Avon and attempted to take goods without making any effort to pay for them.
Again, when challenged by a member of staff he squirted ketchup at them before leaving the shop.
