Three men were arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police stopped a vehicle travelling from Swindon to Devizes.
At 2pm on Wednesday officers patrolling the route between Avebury and Devizes stopped a BMW 3 Series after a passenger was seen acting suspiciously.
A police spokesman said: "The back seat passenger appeared to be acting suspiciously and deleting messages from his phone.
"All three occupants were detained for a drug search to be conducted at Melksham police station where a quantity of class A and B drugs were located, along with cash, mobile phones and drugs paraphernalia."
A 28-year-old man from Trowbridge was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and possession of a class B drug.
A 29-year-old man from Chippenham was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
A 24-year-old man from Bishops Cannings was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of a class B drug.
A police spokesman said: "All have been released under investigation while further enquiries are conducted.
