Children at Ramsbury Primary enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny with an Easter tombola competition, which raised over £550 for the school parent teacher association.
Chocolate prizes were donated by OneStop, Tesco, Budgens and Waitrose.
Laura Cooper, PTA Chair said: “It has been a challenge running PTA events this year due to COVID.
"We can’t raise money with the usual school fetes/bake sales/popcorn clubs – so the PTA have had to be fairly inventive as we can’t go into school and help out.
"The teachers are working flat out already, and we obviously want to support the school by raising as much money as we can in spite of the difficulties presented by the pandemic.
"As well as the in-school Easter tombola, we are also running an Easter competition over the holidays to grow egg heads (using cress seeds).”
The Easter in-school tombola competition was run by the Year 6 class PTA parent representatives
