PRINCE Philip visited Wiltshire a number of times during his decades of public service.
The Duke has had a fun and busy time whenever he popped he visited the county, making grand entrances - including by helicopter - and attracting large cheering crowds, visiting what is now the BMW factory, and formally opening New College and Great Western Hospital, as well as accompanying Her Majesty the Queen when she opened the Wyvern Theatre.
