RESIDENTS and staff at a Trowbridge care home joined the hundreds of fans throughout Wiltshire to celebrate Star Wars Day on Tuesday (May 4).
It was a case of May the 4th Be With You at the Trowbridge Oaks care home on the West Ashton Road.
Laura Bright, the receptionist at the BUPA-run home, said: "Our staff have come dressed up in t-shirts.
"We even had some full Star Wars costumes worn by staff who came in on their day off.
"We have decorated the home with balloons, banners and Star Wars posters and collectables."
Residents took part in a Star Wars quiz and staff hid characters from the iconic film series around the home for everyone to find to win prizes.
Laura added: "This afternoon we will, of course, be watching the movie on our big screen. May the 4th Be With You all."
Star Wars Day is observed annually on May 4 to celebrate the George Lucas Star Wars media franchise.
