Classic Ibiza at Bowood this Saturday (July 24) has been cancelled due to severe weather warnings.

Revival Productions, who organise the show, have been in close consultation with the Met Office all week to monitor the situation.

Following a meeting at 1pm today, the decision was made to safeguard the audience, performers and crew due to a high possibility of heavy rain and lightning on Saturday evening.

Ticket holders for Saturday evening can transfer their tickets to today, where there is limited availability.

They can do this by clicking here. Tickets will automatically be refunded for all those unable to do so.

Lisa Ward, organiser of Classic Ibiza, said: “We have been speaking to the Met Office all week and until today it looked likely that we would be able to go ahead on Saturday. Unfortunately, our fair Isle’s weather gods had different ideas!

"We are devastated for the people who have waited two years to see the show again, but we have made this decision to protect them, our amazing performers and crew.

"Nothing is more important than that

“For those people able to attend tonight, I would advise them to visit our ticket transfer form quickly while there is availability. The show is amazing this year and we are set for a lovely, fine evening.”

The Classic Ibiza set consists of over 30 house classics includes 12 completely new orchestrations.
