A FRESH planning bid has been submitted to transform a former Trowbridge office block into 34 flats.

The block, known as The Pavillions – which formerly housed Virgin Media in the county town – has been the subject of a number of planning applications in recent years.

Last June, a bid by Pavilion Residential Developments, was given the green light which would see one block of the building become 17 one-bedroom and 18 two-bed apartments.

This latest bid would see the first and ground floor of the site be turned into 34 flats in the future.

According to the developers the ground floor would hold 17 flats with six one and two bed units and five studio apartments.

While the first floor would comprise five one-bedroom units, seven two-beds and five studio flats.

A total of 55 parking spaces have also been proposed in the planning application.
