After two years of uncertainty, Warminster Civic Centre is finally able to restart their monthly matinée film shows.

Film shows at the Civic Centre will be regular events that happen every third Wednesday of the month. Doors open at 1:30pm and the film starts at 2pm, giving the audience enough time to grab a hot or cold drink and snack from the Civic Centre coffee bar.

The first film being shown will be Spencer (2021) on Wednesday, February 16, starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana. The film follows her decision to end her marriage to Prince Charles and leave the British royal family.

Wiltshire Times:

Tickets are £4 and can be purchased before a film show from the Civic Centre reception, or alternatively audience members can show up on the day and purchase their tickets along with their refreshments, providing there are seats available.

Matinée films can range from rom coms, to dramas, to musicals, but the audience will have the opportunity to vote for the upcoming films for the rest of the season.

Keep your eyes peeled, as there may be films showing for special events on varying days, such as for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and over school holidays.
