When it comes to house-hunting, it’s so easy to get swept up by fancy extensions, heated floors or how big the kitchen is.

But we’re all about the location this week. If you love nosing inside properties with a view- you’ve come to the right place.

Here are our favourite properties on the market in Wiltshire that boast a view with a difference right now.

In an idyllic position adjacent to the River Avon with incredible views both up and down the river, this house is just a stone’s throw away from the popular centre of Bradford-on-Avon.

The town is known for its many facilities and amenities, with independent shops, making it the perfect place for walking, if you’re keen to explore the stunning scenery of Wiltshire, such as strolls along the River Avon from the Tithe Barn and the Kennet and Avon canal.

This expansive Grade ii-listed building on the outskirts of Worton near Devizes has views that are, quite simply, spectacular; overlooking the brook, Salisbury Plain and beyond.

Who wouldn’t want to come home to an outlook like this?

The house itself has also retained many of its original features as well as some contemporary interventions.

Originally it was constructed as a gristmill in 1850 and served as such until 1970.

We are obsessed with the outlook that this four-bedroom detached house has. From the property, you can see the famous Roundway Hill where historically The Cavaliers and The Roundheads fought against each other at The Battle of Roundway.

The rolling hills give the garden the most serene backdrop you ever did see, making it a place that we could definitely picture ourselves soaking up on a summer’s day. The gardens also boast some established shrubs, a patio sun terrace and a summerhouse at the far end to take it all in.

The property was built in 1978 and extended to the rear.

According to the Estate Agents, Strakers, the property has been lovingly maintained and improved in recent years.

It’s not bad on the inside, either.

Offering light and airy accommodation, the house welcomes you to an entrance hall that has glass panelled doors into a dining room to one side and another into the kitchen/breakfast room.
