Let’s face it. Sitting in a beer garden with your favourite pint, or a glass of ice-cold lemonade is what British summertime is all about.

But when it comes to picking the best place to unwind in, where do you start? Wiltshire is home to 617 pubs, according to the British Beer & Pub Association, so your options for where to go in the warmer months are endless.

We took it to the panel (aka; our Wiltshire readers) and you did not disappoint. Here are some popular spots that you told us we just had to check out.

The Wiltshire Yeoman

If this was a competition, The Wiltshire Yeoman was a clear winner, with lots of readers putting it to us as their firm favourite.

The Trowbridge beer garden is set across a unique outdoor space that the pub owners have truly made the most of by including decking and a variety of plants to liven up the area.

The Black Horse

The Black Horse in Devizes was also a very popular choice. Perched just by the canal, customers can enjoy a drink with an unreal view.

What a way to spend a spring day.

The Cross guns

The Cross Guns was also a close contender, and we can certainly see why.

Nestled right near the heart of the bustling market town, Bradford-on-Avon is the beer garden of dreams.

You can sit on the stylish raise decking, admiring the River Avon all while enjoying a pub atmosphere in the sunshine.

What’s more, is that it’s right opposite Avoncliff train station, so you can easily turn it into a day trip even if you don’t drive.

The Rising Sun

Also a firm favourite was The Rising Sun in Lacock.

It has to be said, the outlook is pretty unbeatable, stretching out into the vast horizon, it is the perfect place to slow down and take in the day.

Gazette and Herald reader Tony Walker remarked: "It has a brilliant garden with a huge deck and the best views in Wiltshire."

Heddington’s country pub has all the rural, English, thatched roof charm about it. Set amid the stunning greenery, you may even forget you’re at the pub altogether as you feel like you are really at one with nature.

Where do you think is the best beer garden in Wiltshire?
