A FIRE crew from Trowbridge helped rescue a cow that had fallen in a river.
The rescue mission took place in Limpley Stoke and fire service said it took around two hours.
A tweet from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Service said: "Limpley Stoke - Our crew from Trowbridge assisted Avon Fire & Rescue with saving a cow from the river after it had fallen in.
"The cow was brought to safety by animal and water rescue teams using specialist equipment over a period of 2 hours."
