It’s a busy weekend for Wiltshire- with lots of exciting events happening all around the county.

Here are just some of the events you might wish to go along to, if you’re looking to make the most of the more bearable weather.

Sunshine, beer and music

The Devizes Beer Festival which is taking place on Saturday morning (23/07) at Devizes Wharf sounds like it’s every beer lover’s dream. The festival is set to be selling over100 real ales and ciders, made complete with a marquee on the Devizes Wharf car park and plenty of outdoor space.

Live music will also be taking place on the stage as well as a food court.

It will take place from 11:30 am until 10:00 pm and entry is £13 is being sold as a package including an initial £5 of beer tokens, making a total of £18.

Arts, Culture and everything in between

WOMAD Festival has been one of the UK's largest global music and culture festivals for over 40 years according to organisers- and it is taking place at Charlton Park in Malmesbury.

The event kicked off on July 21 but is going on until July 24 when it will finish at 9pm

Those attending will be able to watch ‘world-class’ musicians across the unique stages at the event, as well as explore WOMAD with activities like the physics pavilion, the world of art, and literary speakers.

The Ibiza experience- reimagined

If you’re not up for partying in Ibiza anymore, the next best thing is just a stone’s throw away.

Bowood House in Clane is hosting an open-air celebration of White Isle-inspired house music, reinvented by the Urban Soul Orchestra, live vocalists and headline DJs.

Car parking is free, and organisers have confirmed people can bring their own food and drink, or savour a cool San Miguel and a tasty bite from the one of our bars or numerous street food pop-ups.

A spokesperson for the event said: ‘The only thing we insist on is that you bring your dancing shoes and embrace the family-friendly vibe.’

Inflatable fun

The UK’s largest inflatable obstacle course - The Labyrinth Challenge - is coming to Trowbridge on this weekend from July 23- 24.

The 1,000ft long course is made complete with hurdles, climbing walls, tunnels and slides in five-themed zones.

Tickets are booked in one hour sessions and you are able to complete the course as many times as you like within the time slot.

Feeling jazzy?

If you’re less of the jumping-off-inflatables kind, and more the gin-and-jazz type, this musical event in Bradford-on-Avon may be more your speed.

The IIford Manor Jazz Festival has been curated by jazz legend Claire Martin OBE who has put together a programme to be enjoyed by jazz lovers, countryside and garden aficionados alike.

Picnic in the Archery Ground, and enjoy world-class entertainment in front of the backdrop of the Manor.

Tickets are from £30pp which is based on 2 people sharing a £60 Zone B picnic pitch, according to organisers.
