A SECTION of the A303 had to be closed last night after a car crashed into a building, causing a fire and an oil spill.
National Highways stated that the A303 was closed in both directions between the A350 (Chicklade) and the A36 (Deptford) after a vehicle crashed into a building.
Wiltshire Police were on the scene according to National Highways.

National Highways reported that a vehicle had collided with a derelict building between Chicklade and Deptford.
A statement said: "A single vehicle collision occurred shortly after 8pm this evening.
"A car has struck a building which has resulted in a fire and large oil spillage. Wiltshire Police, Fire and Ambulance Services are on scene."
Salisbury Fire Station also put out a statement about a fire nearby they attended shortly after the news was released that the A3030 was closed.
