A man has appeared in court in Swindon charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Trowbridge.
The charge follows an incident at around 5.55am on Sunday, April 16 inside a property in Manor Road, where a man in his 40s suffered serious injuries.
Robert Frasonski, 24, of Summerleaze, Trowbridge, was remanded in custody and appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on April 18.
The victim was taken to Bristol's Southmead Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Frasonski was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment of his own injuries, thought not to be serious.
After receiving hospital treatment, he was then remanded in custody at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon.
