A Wiltshire drug dealer has been handed a suspended prison sentence almost three years after being caught by police.
Grant Adam Brooks, of New Road in Trowbridge, was stopped in Seymour Road on August 1, 2020.
He has now been handed a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years, after he was charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis, and converting criminal property.
Police say they spotted the 31-year-old when he stopped outside an address in Seymour Road in his Vauxhall Zafira.
He exited the car and approached the property before returning to his vehicle within seconds.
Brooks was then stopped by officers due to concerns regarding drug supply and his phone was seized.
He was also invited for an interview, and officers say his phone had “significant evidence of drug supply".
During his sentencing on May 16, Brooks was also ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and must pay a surcharge of £149.
