WILTSHIRE Primary Care Trust's board will be presented today with two petitions containing more than 2,000 signatures opposing the potential merger of two GP surgeries in north Wiltshire.
The two petitions were organised following a proposal to merge Box Surgery with The Porch Surgery in Corsham, and moving the joint practice to a site in Rudloe.
PCT board members will be asked this morning to consider the petitions alongside the views of other patients.
The PCT said in a report it was "too early" to make a decision on the proposal.
