A CARING mum has helped raise £350 for Trowbridge special needs nursery group Stepping Stones.
Caroline Turton, 35, organised a ladies' night at Melksham Labour Club on June 7 at which 80 people turned up.
They were treated to performances from two male strippers and a drag queen, as well as bidding for items on a raffle.
The money will go towards speech and language therapy at Stepping Stones in Polebarn Road, where Miss Turton's three-year-old son, Adam Tuck, attends.
Miss Turton, who lives in Littlejohn Avenue, Melksham, said: "It was a really good night. They have done tremendous work with Adam and I wanted to repay them in any way I could.
"He was very slow to walk and crawl but he has come on tremendous, especially his speech."
