PUPILS at Abbeyfield School in Chippenham hosted a Dragons Den style event to initiate business and social enterprise ideas.
The school's Young Chamber held the event on June 18 and the students whose ideas where shortlisted were coached by business studies staff.
This was before members of Chippenham Chamber of Commerce assessed their ideas on the basis of how they were presented.
There were a wide range of business ideas including smoothie production, vintage sports retail and a pet alarm system.
Adrian Whitbread, chair of Chippenham Chamber of Commerce, said: "I felt the students responded really well to the challenge, and all credit to them and everyone involved."
Headteacher Trish Shubrook said: "The event was a great success.
"The young chamber should be commended for their work.
"They are making a real impact in the school and beyond by bringing business and enterprise to life for our students in such exciting ways."
