Police have warned the public not to approach a man wanted in connection with a theft as their hunt continues.

Officers are searching for Patrick Soan, who has links to Trowbridge, Chippenham, Westbury, and Salisbury.

Members of the public have been urged not to approach the 50-year-old if they see him.

Instead, they should call 999 and provide police with a description of what he is wearing, anything he is carrying, and his direction of travel.

Anyone with information that could aid the search for Soan has been encouraged to report it to police via 101.

A spokesperson for the force said: “If you have information which could assist with our enquiries then please call our non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”

The log number 54230100201 should be quoted when providing information about this case.

The search for Soan comes as part of Wiltshire Police’s Wanted for Winter campaign, which will run throughout December and shines a spotlight on individuals they believe can help with their investigations.
