A man has been found dead at a property in Wiltshire, police have confirmed.
Police officers have been in attendance at an address on Hawksridge Road, Salisbury, for more than 24 hours.
Few details have been released by police, but neighbours reported that police officers and forensics had been at the property since 9am on Wednesday, December 27.
A resident told the Salisbury Journal approximately seven to eight police vehicles and two forensics vans have been seen in the area.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Police are at an address in Hawksridge, Salisbury dealing with the report of a deceased male.
“There is a scene in place while officers carry out further enquiries.”
A cordon remains in place on Hawksridge Road on Thursday, December 28.
One neighbour, who declined to be named, said: “The fact that the police have been here for so long is odd.
“To be honest, I’m frightened because it’s so rare for anything like this to happen out here.”
