A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a man.
Police were called to Thorne Close, Coombe Bissett, at around 3pm on Thursday, January 4, after receiving reports that a man in his 50s had been found with serious injuries.
Officers and emergency services attended but the man was declared dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: "An investigation has been launched after a man died in Coombe Bissett yesterday.
"His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them."
A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. She has been taken into custody for questioning.
A cordon remains at the scene on Friday, January 5, and officers continue to investigate the circumstances.
